I just got my chai tea soap from this post: http://community.livejournal.com/natural_madison/1319.html

How wonderful! It was wrapped beautifully (perfect for a gift!), and smells great. Haven't used it yet because I was so excited to come leave feedback.
Jennifer was a doll and the package came incredibly quick.
I will be enjoying some chai tea tonight, and testing out the soap (and then promptly hiding it so no one else uses it :P).

I also wanted to add that I have now used the soap and I love it even more!
The chai scent is subtle, not at all overpowering, and there's another sweet smell to it, maybe the honey? Anyway, it's very nice. Plus, my hands felt so soft after using it just once! And that was without feeling abraded (like some exfoliant soaps) or 'lotiony' and gross. What a wonderful alternative to the overly powerful antibacterial soaps, which seem to be all there you can find in the stores.

I was originially planning on using this as my occational "special soap" but now I think it will be the every wash soap, and I'll be coming back for more when it's run out! :D

yay! glad you really like it. i love making homemade soap, and i agree--so much better than store bought! even when i use those special moisturizing bars, i still feel dry. :-(
i'm going to be making some more tea inspired soaps soon, i just have to wait on a mold i bought for them to come in the mail. i'll post them up here and when i get that hyena cart going! ;-)

when you make the postpartum pads, you should definitely make them with WIDE wings.
i've heard the postpartum flow is a beast.

i made a "prototype pad" last night and the wings go the full length of the pad--so the whole thing wraps around your panties for extra protection! but yeah, postpartum flow is pretty bad...! i'll post pics today to show everyone, then you can tell me what you think of what i made. :-)
